ShareAll-Star Program
The Rep Program consists of travel teams for those players who wish to play at a higher level of competition. Rep players are asked to bring a higher level of maturity, effort, skill, dedication and commitment to the game. KMBA offers competitive programs from Rookie Ball to Midget (age 7 to 18). Tryouts are held in the fall, with the exception of Junior Rookie tryouts, which are scheduled in the spring. Players are evaluated by the rep coaches, and the successful candidates are placed on one of 2 teams (levels) – Tier 1 or Tier 2. Teams play an average of one home game and one away game each week, with one or two practices held each week. The season includes 24 – 28 games, with the competition not being determined until all InterCounty Baseball teams have been finalized (usually by early April) . Teams also attend three to four tournaments during the season, as well as InterCounty Baseball Association Playoffs. Teams that are successful and earn a berth, can compete in the Ontario Baseball Association Playoffs. In addition to the KMBA registration fee, there are rep fees, tryout fees and uniform costs. A team budget is prepared and approved by parents for other sundry expenses as required by each individual team.
