Levels of Play

Kitchener Minor Baseball Associations (KMBA) offers hardball programs for boys and
girls, ages 4 to 18:

                    • Fundamentals (introduction to various baseball skills) ages 4 and 5.

                    • T-ball (no pitcher - batters hit the ball off a “Tee”) ages 5 to 7.

                    • Rookie ball (pitcher is a machine that pitches balls to batter) ages 7 to 9.

                    • Baseball (overhand pitching like the Blue Jays) ages 10 to 18.

All these programs as well as House League Select programs are offered in conjunction
with Waterloo Minor Baseball (WMBA). Teams will have players from both Kitchener
and Waterloo, and games will take place in both cities.

KMBA also offers Rep programs for players aged 7 to 18 who wish to play at a higher
level of competition.

The following residential boundaries apply for registration purposes:


                
Players who reside in Kitchener, Breslau, Mannheim, New Dundee, Roseville and
                   Plattsville are to register with Kitchener Minor Baseball (KMBA)
                
Players who reside in Waterloo, Baden, New Hamburg, Wellesley, Wilmot,
                  Bloomingdale, Maryhill and Petersburg are to register with Waterloo Minor Baseball(WMBA).
