WOW!!!!
What a night!
The Mike Ignor Night at the Ball Park was a huge success with over 200 people showing up for the action with most staying to watch the game. The park was packed.
The Ignor family really seemed to have enjoyed the event and even stayed around for pizza with both the Kitchener and Waterloo teams after the game.

Special thanks to the following teams who showed up to share in the event.
Minor Mosquito T1 - Jeff Young
Major Mosquito T1- Chris Moore
Minor Peewee T2 - Darren Hartley
Major Peewee T1- Jeff Hatt
Major Peewee T2 - Ron Mooibroeck
Major Bantam T2 - Dan Pitre

Special thanks also to the Minor Mosquito T1 Guelph Royals and the Major Peewee T2 Cambridge Cubs for joining our KMBA teams on the field as part of the ring of honour standing in the outfield grass on the edge of the infield.

Also in attendance was Robbie Mulder President of Waterloo Minor Baseball and Jennifer Karlsen President of Kitchener Minor Baseball. Thanks to both for sharing in the evening.

The Major Bantam Panthers locked up their 4th consecutive ICBA Regular Season Pennant with a walk off home run in the bottom of the 9th inning. Final score was 1-0 for Kitchener.
It was especially fantastic that the event was shared with Coach Dave Jantzi and the Waterloo Major Bantam T1 Tigers. Many of the Waterloo players have attended the winter clinics and Panther Schools over the years and also know Coach Mike.
Both teams played amazing baseball and both starting pitchers, Andrew Chan from Waterloo and Tyler Riehl for the Panthers pitched to the 6th and 7th innings. Both left the game allowing less then 2 hits and no runs allowed.

I have attached some pictures taken by our own team photographer Joe Cascagnette who as you likely all know by now is a wizard with a camera.
