It only took five innings for the Panthers to mercy the Brantford Red Sox tonight winning 15-4.

Fresh off a solid performance in the recent Vaughan tournament the Panthers jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning.

After two innings the Red Sox had tied tha game at 3-3 taking advantage of some timely hits.

In the third inning the Panthers put the game out of reach plating seven runs without the Red Sox recording an out to move ahead 10-3.

The Panthers added another four runs in the fourth inning to push the lead to 14-3 before rounding out the scoring in the fifth to make it a 15-4 game.

Jaxen Reeve was solid on the mound limiting Brantford to three hits while striking out four. Jordan DeBruyn pitched the final two innings without allowing a hit triking out four.

The offense was paced tonight behind a pair of hits from Talman Young, Ethan Schroeder, Adam Grein, Logan Mooibroek and Ryan Little. 

The Panthers next game is Wednesday night in Waterloo. Game time is scheduled for 6 pm at Auburn Park.
